Founders

Sam A Jaoude, is the CEO of Madenlebanon LLC, a consulting firm specialized in marketing, branding and distribution of the Lebanese-made products in the USA and western world. He created LMMP USA with FDA Consultants to help the western world understand the Lebanese systems, to build trust and transparency and to provide the confidence needed in Lebanese manufacturing.

As a Lebanese American, Sam understands the corporate culture of North America while still relating to the Lebanese culture. Having worked for corporate America for more than 25 years has given Sam the business acumen to open doors to both ethnic and mainstream America. 

An accomplished FMCG international food agent and consultant, Sam’s vast expertise is widely sought in marketing, branding and distribution in the FMCG retail industries. He is also an internationally-recognized speaker.

Sam’s clients are owners and operators from small family-run businesses to big name brands. He worked and currently works with many of the top brands in Lebanon as their consultant and agent.

 

Salim Alameddin was born in Houston, Texas to a Lebanese father and an American mother. He now lives in Washington, DC, where he works in federal government relations, helping clients interact with Congress and the Executive Branch agencies on a wide array of issues, including foreign trade. 

Growing up, Salim visited Lebanon frequently, spending most of his time there in Beirut or in the mountains. Salim has two sisters and several aunts, uncles, and cousins who remain in Houston, which he visits frequently. He is passionate about his Lebanese heritage and world history and enjoys introducing his friends to Lebanese cuisine, music, and culture. 
 
He graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.A. in political science and history. 

Ghassan F. El Khoury, a Masters graduate from the Saint Joseph University (USJ), Beirut in Marketing and Management with more than 25 years of experience as a professional entrepreneur in the printing industry, insurance and reinsurance, commerce and trade.

Enthusiastic, optimistic and future-oriented with the creative capacity to recognize and pursue opportunities. A clear vision, decisiveness, flexibility, and risk tolerance have driven Ghassan in his business accomplishments. His people skills have demonstrated leadership while remaining a favored team player.
 
Ghassan is the Co-founder and current President of the Lebanese National Energy (LNE), a nongovernmental organization with a mission to boost the Lebanese economy by linking economic, business, and academic leaders in order to enhance growth and prosperity, create job opportunities, and stop brain drain.
 
Founded in 2017, LNE’s four major pillars are good governance, business and economic development, gender diversity in the workplace, and youth empowerment and retention. The key elements that the organization is based on are accountability, transparency, and sustainable growth achieved through stakeholder partnerships, and capacity building through mentoring and vocational training. 
 
A social activist, working towards a sustainable positive change in society where Ghassan’s mission is helping create strong communities where economic prosperity, social and political health are viable.

Mary C. Mulry PhD, CFS is currently Managing Director of FoodWise One LLC, a consulting firm specializing in product development with helping to bring natural and organic foods, dietary supplements, cannabis and other lifestyle products to market.

Her strengths include scientific and technical expertise, prototype development, nutrition,  regulatory, food safety, labeling, ingredient sourcing, positioning and strategy for start-up through Fortune 500 companies. She was formerly Private Label Manager at Natural Grocers, a natural and organic specialty grocery store. She has experience in all aspects of the food supply chain, from ingredients to manufacturing to retail. She is a highly sought after international consultant, expert witness, trainer and speaker. She also has in-depth experience with consumer packaged goods companies (Kelloggs, Kraft, Celestial Seasonings) and grocery retailers (Wild Oats Markets, HEB/Central Market and Natural Grocers) developing branded and private label items and overseeing natural and organic standards. Previously, she was Product Development Director of Central Market/HEB. Prior to this, Mary was Sr. Director of Research, Development and Standards at Wild Oats Markets, VP of R&D and Operations, Rainbow Light Nutritional Systems, VP of R&D at Celestial Seasonings, and Section Manager of Analytical Chemistry at Kraft Foods. Dr. Mulry has a PhD in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Florida and a BS with Honors in Food Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  She is certified as a Process Control Qualified Individual (PCQI) and in the Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP) for compliance with the Food Safety Modernization Act for foods and supplements.
